THEOREM OF THE DAY: Lagrange’s Four-Squares Theorem

Theorem 

Any non-negative integer $n$, may be written as a sum of four squares: $$n = w^2 + x^2 + y^2 + z^2$$ where $w, x, y$ and $z$ are non-negative integers (some of which may be zero.)
