THEOREM OF THE DAY: The Pythagorean Theorem

 Theorem 

Consider a triangle with angles $A, B$ and $C$ and opposite sides $a, b4 and $c4, respectively. 

 

If $C = 90^{\circ}$, then 

$c^ 2 = a^ 2 + b^ 2$.
